 The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering since its inception in year 2009 is involved in the study of evolving subjects. This department offers one under graduate course (B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering) and a post graduate course (M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives). This department is dedicated to the current needs of the industry. Application of new technologies in various fields is one of the main focuses in the departmental activities. EEE is a subject that naturally partners with other disciplines to open whole new engineering avenues. The department has grown not only in terms of Faculties and Students but also in terms of state of the art laboratories for students.
Undergraduate Program(UG)
This course not only introduces the students into the world of Electrical and Electronics Engineering but also gives them strong technical knowledge. This B.Tech degree Program provides a balance between depth of knowledge acquired through specialization and breadth of knowledge acquired through exploration. The department also promotes research activities amongst its students and faculties. EEE Department also encourages its students to involve themselves in various learning and interaction activities.

Post Graduate Program( PG)

The emphasis now turning to efficient use of present technologies, Department of EEE through its master degree course i.e. M.Tech in Power Electronics and Drives provides the students all major exposure in the discipline of Power Electronics. It exposes the students to the present day to day scenario and encourages them to use their technical skill to improve the present day power handling capabilities. The study of power electronics and drives provides an in-depth understanding of the technologies by means of power electronics devices and Electrical Machines.
To become a front-runner in bringing out globally competent electrical and electronics engineers, innovators, researchers, and entrepreneurs  with best technical, interactive skills and thereby contribute value to the knowledge based economy and society.

v  To build the culture of team work and effective communication ability in our graduates to solve complex engineering problems and other challenging issues.

v  Engineers, guided by the principles of sustainable development and global interconnectedness, will understand how engineering projects affect society and the environment.

v  To train the students with practical exposure to test and verify the characteristics of common electrical and electronics equipments / machines / control system and to develop the skill to analyze, appreciate and interpret the data for engineering applications

v  To become outstanding professional with professional ethics to give solution to the problems of the Industries and society.

Program Outcomes (PO) 

v   To identify, formulate and to solve complex Engineering problems.

v   To use the skills, techniques and modern engineering tools and software necessary for engineering course.

v Students gain knowledge by conducting workshops, industry visits, guest lectures and discussions with technical professionals.

v   For engineering students, Project Work allows them to gain in depth knowledge as they carry out literature survey of the concepts, and hands on experience of the tools and hardware.

v  Through the experiences of independent research, students are better prepared in the areas of critical thinking and learning. This encourages the students to pursue graduate studies and research work.

PSO-Program Specific Objectives

v  An ability to understand the concepts of basic Electronics &  Communication Engineering   and to apply them to various areas like Signal processing, VLSI, Embedded systems, Communication Systems, Digital & Analog Devices, etc.

v  An ability to solve complex Electronics and Communication Engineering problems, using latest hardware and software tools, along with analytical skills to arrive cost effective and appropriate solutions.

v  Wisdom of social and environmental awareness along with ethical responsibility to have a successful career and to sustain passion and zeal for real-world applications using optimal resources as an Entrepreneur.
